   Following the trends on the Internet, we found something that can unquestionably be considered as NSFW - Nutscaping. Our colleagues, in the spirit of Friday shenanigans, decided to join the group of brave men who publish extravagant photos from their travels. Their artistic process, however, was not matching the rules of nutscaping, which, I must admit, made me incredibly happy ;) The final effect is published on our Instagram - check it out!

    Halloween, even if it is not the Polish tradition, is getting more and more popular in our country. Because of that we happily agreed to the idea of Anitas and as part of celebrating this scary holiday we altered the pictures of our colleagues in the "About us" section. It was a perfect job for fighting against autumn blues - there is nothing more cheering than playing with filters and changing your friends into zombies, vampires or demons without heads! A quick check ofprofile pictures of our colleagues on Facebook assured us in the fact that they really liked this little joke – now we have to start thinking about the next surprise ;)

    As I already mentioned, Autumn is not spoiling anyone and the lack of sunlight can often cause bad mood or unnecessary stress. Maciek decided to fight that and reached for bubble wrap - the famous cure for unnecessary worries. As De-stress Man, he preventively took care of the morale in the office – have you ever seen anyone unhappy with bubble wrap in hand? (The answer is no – you have not)
16. 11th of November - the day of not caring about the figure
18. Deliciousness occurred in our office! Tomorow we will celebrate #PolishIndependanceDay and #StMartinDay in Poznan, and the traditional way to do it is with special twirls (rogale świętomarcińskie).     1th of November means National Independence Day in Poland. It is obviously a big deal in our country, but it is also the double holiday for people from Poznań. During this day our city is focused on only one thing - eating rogale świętomarcińskie and celebration on the St. Martin street . Anita and Krzysiek made us a surprise and came to the office with big trays of the delicious rogale. Because of that the entire office was filled with crumbs on the desks and half-eaten lunches in the fridge -after all, one rogal has almost 600 calories! But even the greatest lovers of diets and exercising do not pay attention to such trivial matter - November 11th only comes once a year!

    When the small package arrived at our office, we knew that it has to be a reference letter from one of our clients. However, we did not expect it to be this pretty! Ewe decided to describe our work through framed, elegant letter that can not be simply tucked away in a drawer. Now we can proudly glance at it while we work - as you can see, our efforts in working on projects pay off :)

    People who are familiar with our social media know about DevCollege, or series of trainings about Web and Game Gevelopment. This time Wiesiu and Adam showed that anyone can work on Symfony2 - those who want to do it just need teachers as good as our developers ;) As always, after work everyone was tucking into delicious pizza - check it yourself on DevCollege website (PL only)!

    Wiesiu, one of the DevCollege trainers, was a star of this months GeekShirtFriday series on our Instagram. Every Friday we show our geek colours ( geek chests?) while publishing popcultural t-shirts that we are wearing. Wiesiu won our harts with the combination of cat form "Le Chat Noir" with a friendly dragon from "How to Train Your Dragon". As you can see, geek clothes can be not only quite charming - they can also educate our employees about bohemian Paris :)

38. For a few months we have been recieving reviews on @clutch.co - the website where clients can share their thoughs regarding our work. Right now we are on the first place in polish ranking of Top Web & Sotware Developers and on third place in international Top Web Development Companies classification!     In our work rankings are not what is most important for us. Therefore more we are very pleased when it turns out that thanks to our work we are noticed and stand on the podium! Since recently, our customers have the opportunity to post their reviews of our cooperation on Clutch.co. As a result, we were able to win first place in the ranking Polish Top Web & Software Developers and third place in the world rankings for the Top Web Development Companies! It is especially important for us because the Leader Matrix is based only on the words of the customer - thanks to that we know that it is worth a always try your best!

    This month Miłosz was busy not only with the nutscaping - he decided to leave us for few days and attend a workshop dedicated to Test Driven Development. To prove that he did not skip classes, Miłosz showed us a diploma he received. Now all he has to do is to share his newly gained knowledge with the rest of the team on one of our internal trainings.

    It was not only Miłosz who had the opportunity to step away from the desk in November! Many of us happily accepted the invitation to the Media and Technology conference - five of us had the opportunity to listen to lectures on best practices of working in our industry. We congratulate the organizers - the presentation was interesting and whole conference was impeccable - as you can see in the picture we really had fun there. On our Twitter we conducted a live broadcast of - check it out while you wait for our article, where we will tell you a bit more about the whole event!

November was a bit like school for us - we were teachers at DevCollege and then we took on the role of students on Test Driven Development workshop and on Marketing and Technology conference. Next to that we still had time for shenanigans while making a coconut-wall composition or while covering Maciek in bubble wrap;) As you can see, in Merixstudio we try to mix the serious with the less serious - looking at the number of positive reviews we received in November, this method works perfectly!
